MIS Proctology 2025 – Advancing Skills Through Live Surgery & CME
On June 22, 2025, Pune hosted a highly impactful academic event in the field of minimal access surgery — the MIS Proctology One-Day Interactive CME & Live Surgical Workshop, organized under the auspices of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India and the College of MAS. Held at Hotel Ramee Grand, Shivaji Nagar, in collaboration with the Department of General Surgery, Laparoscopy, GI & Robotic Surgery at Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital, Deccan Gymkhana, and supported by the Poona Surgical Society, this unique program brought together leading surgeons, specialists, and trainees for a day of intensive learning and skill-building. The workshop featured comprehensive sessions on advanced proctology, live surgical demonstrations, and interactive CME discussions, creating an invaluable platform for knowledge sharing and professional growth. By combining evidence-based techniques with practical exposure, the MIS Proctology workshop strengthened the expertise of participants and highlighted the transformative role of minimal access surgery in modern colorectal practice.
